Re: Drive to Fill Vacancies at Processing Center in Holeck, 6th Territory, and Prepare For 7th
As you are by now no doubt aware, our Processing Center in the city of Holeck in the Empire’s 6th District recently shed a rather large number of employees due to the walk-out organized by a handful of workers within the ranks of our level 1 associates. While we suffered a setback on order completion and shipments, we should count our blessings that enough members of the workforce remained committed to their jobs that the delays were not more impactful, and that the two smaller Centers in Derrick and Namoha were able to handle the slack.
However, we need to replace the terminated workers, and quickly. To that end, I recommend running adverts for recruitment in all regional papers and on stations both radio and televisual. Payroll and Human Resources have given the go-ahead authorization to offer level 1 associates a starting wage of IC 15.50/hour until such time as employee levels are returned to fully operational status. All level 1 associates at the Center who have remained onboard are to be offered a stay incentive/reward of an additional 1 imperial credit per hour pay bump, chiefly to avoid complaints that they are already making that rate after staying since the Center opened.
As for the planned 7th Territory Center, the Territory Council has not yet introduced the permit in chambers for discussion, though we have been in contact with Neal Thompson over the course of the last three months to discuss the benefits to the Territory of bringing in a Processing Center. He seems enthusiastic about the notion, and assures us that he can get the rest of the Council onboard to grant us the permit required to establish the Center.
Be advised that this would be a Class A Center, requiring no less than 800 full-time level 1 associates to function optimally. Given the economic conditions of the 7th Territory, an initial offering of 12 IC/hour would likely be met with quite a positive outlook from local residents, particularly in the larger metro areas. We have a scouting representative looking for the most suitable location as we speak.
Let’s remember to keep communicating effectively, and to do what we do the right way- the Ganges Way!
