It seems that there’s a bit of a problem right now with my audio files for “The Big Tour”, the novel that I have audio recordings set aside on my computer for presentation. If I can’t get things straightened out quickly, it’s going to mean a bit of an unexpected road block for what I had planned for the next month here on The Storyteller’s Corner.
Not, mind you, that this is an insurmountable challenge. I still have some other older material that I can offer up for its first appearance here on the Substack, and I’m always working on at least one larger project and one short story project when opportunity arises. I may have to simply adjust the timing on when I had wanted to bring those offerings along to you fine folks.
This will also likely mean that there will be some gaps coming along again as well. I’ve been fairly prolific in my fiction production over the years, not to toot my own horn too much, but even I cannot provide a constant, unending supply of reading material for folks. There’s only so many hours in a day, and with a full-time job, consistent overtime, 4 kiddos at home, and projects around the house that need tending to here and there, I’m not always able to sit down and pelt out as much material as resides in the squishy confines of my skull as I would like. Pacing and windows of opportunity are factors that require a certain amount of grace to navigate.
Thankfully, there are plenty of other storytellers here on Substack who are talented and deserving of your time and attention as well, so I don’t have to carry the load alone in terms of offering up fabulous fiction offerings to bring value to this platform! So, while I attempt to get this situation with the audio files sorted, I’ll also start assessing what I might have to utilize as a stand-in for the time being to take the place of “The Big Tour” in the days ahead.
Whatever tale ends up coming to you here, folks, I as ever and always hope that you’ll find it enjoyable. For now, I thank you for stopping in, thank you for your time, and ask that as always, you keep reading.
