Working the Program (Chapter 10)

You can’t call a man paranoid if somebody actually is watching him, Warren thought as he made his way across the mall’s parking lot the following morning, his umbrella held close by his head to try and keep the rain off of his bulky frame. The vehicle tail had been almost blatant in its maneuvers, but a couple of glances over the shoulder using the self-facing camera on his phone showed him that this was a diversion tactic to try and keep him from noticing the foot-bound tail he’d picked up at some point.
