I have to say I do find the idea of BlackRock eliminating capitalism somewhat fascinating. I've had the thought over the last couple decades many times that the corporation is the ultimate totalitarian control apparatus. I won't call it communism or capitalism. It's totalitarianism with no ideology - only worship of power and ultimate subjugation of the human spirit.
It took me a LONG time to get there too, but you're right. It's so hard to understand. What have I done to anybody? Why would someone want to do that? But it's right there staring you in the face. You put it better than I ever could. Some people are actual believers, but the ones who will end up running the show just see a movement they can hijack and manipulate. The believers should take a moment and find out about Mensheviks and Old Bolsheviks to see what's in store for themselves.
